Hey there! I hope you all are doing well! I’m once again turning to you guys for some help in naming and identifying a couple of movies I grew up with as a kid, but can’t recall the names.
The first was a series of documentaries where you would follow animals growing up, 4 animals in each film. Like barnyard animals, pets and so on. At the end of each segment, a musical piece would play, accompanied by a cartoon showing the animal quickly growing up from an egg/newborn into an adult.
The second one was a series of nature documentaries aimed at kids, with different themes like dinosaurs and such. Your host would be a talking, cartoon earthglobe that would narrate the movie and show up occassionally on the screen. There would also be several musical numbers in each movie.
These were such a big part of my childhood, and yet I can’t even recall the names of these films. For the sake of nostalgia I hope some of you can help me decipher this mystery, haha.
I recently had some memories about a movie I watched as a kid, but I can't figure out what the movie is called, or if it's even a real movie to begin with, haha.
I was hoping maybe some of you would recognize it and could tell me the name in that case.
What I remember is this:
It's a live action movie where there's a gorilla living with a family, like their pet. The scene I remember is that the gorilla is wearing an apron and scrubbing the floor in either the kitchen or the living room. He thinks back about some events that happened the day before, where some people mocked him or something like that. The lady of the house comes into the room, and she slips or suddenly touch the gorilla, and he freaks out and starts destroying the room. When he calms down he realizes the damage he's caused and begins to sob, there's also a parrot in a cage in the same room that goes "Good boy", or maybe it was "Be good" as he's sitting down weeping. The parrot also said the gorillas name after the first phrase.
Is this seriously a real movie, or is my mind playing tricks on me? I'm itching to know, haha.
As you may have noticed my artworks have been few and far between in the last few months, and that's because earlier this year I moved to a new apartment. This coupled with starting at a new workplace meant that I didn't have much time or inspiration for art as I was settling in. I visit this site on a daily basis but I hope I can upload art more frequently from now on.
Thanks for being awesome and sticking with me despite the lack of uploads.
